Senior/Principal Program Manager - Controllership

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of strategic and operational initiatives across Controllership, Accounting, Finance Operations, and business transformation.
• Structure ambiguous business problems into clear workplans, decision points, and actionable recommendations.
• Partner with Finance, Accounting, Tax, Legal, Product, Systems, and Operations teams to design scalable and financially sound solutions.
• Evaluate the implications of changes across accounting, reporting, controls, tax, legal-entity setup, and operating processes.
• Design and implement finance-ready operating models for new business units, organizational changes, or structural shifts.
• Prepare high-quality materials for senior leadership, including decision memos, steering updates, and strategic recommendations.
• Establish practical frameworks, templates, and methodologies to improve execution quality across projects.

Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant experience in program management, finance transformation, controllership, strategic finance, or consulting.
• Strong understanding of accounting, finance operations, and controllership concepts.
• Proven ability to drive complex, cross-functional problems that require both strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
• Demonstrated experience managing initiatives involving business processes, accounting treatment, reporting, and controls.
• Strong executive communication skills with the ability to synthesize complexity for senior stakeholders.
• High ownership and a willingness to dive into technical details to validate assumptions and solve issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in finance controllership, accounting advisory, or business transformation.
• Background in fast-paced industries such as travel tech, e-commerce, or fintech.
• Familiarity with entity setup, intercompany structures, or tax and control considerations.
• Experience working alongside Product, Systems, or Data teams.
• Professional qualifications such as CPA, CA, ACCA, or CFA.
• Project management certifications like PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile.
