Senior/Principal Production Planning Control Specialist

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning activities and coordinate production efforts for multiple rapid product realization programs
• Develop integrated production schedules in collaboration with project leaders and managers
• Coordinate with procurement teams to acquire materials and equipment to meet accelerated schedules
• Provide hands-on oversight of inventory, replenishment, and shop floor scheduling
• Monitor production metrics and present regular updates to leadership
• Partner with IT to develop Oracle infrastructure for tracking and controlling production activities
• Perform continuous improvement activities to optimize manufacturing processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline plus 5 years of production planning experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency with industry-standard Manufacturing Resources Planning (MRP) systems such as Oracle, SAP, or ERP
• Active DOE Q clearance or equivalent required to start
• Ability to work onsite in Albuquerque, NM

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of Lean Six Sigma concepts and tools (kanbans, standard work, etc.)
• Experience in highly regulated manufacturing environments (DOD, DOE)
• Familiarity with quality management systems such as AS9100 or ISO9000
• APICS professional certification (CPIM, CSCP, or similar)
• Demonstrated leadership or project management skills
