Senior/Principal Operations & Engineering Lead - Facilities Portfolio Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, development, and execution of facilities projects related to tools facilities and infrastructure (F&I)
• Provide leadership and tactical planning for project execution using engineering judgment to achieve objectives
• Identify potential facilities operational risks and develop mitigation strategies or corrective actions
• Collaborate closely with the MESA portfolio to ensure alignment of facilities operations with program objectives
• Oversee project management activities including scope definition, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
• Facilitate communication and coordination among cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners
• Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular updates to management

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or a related engineering field
• 7+ years of directly related experience demonstrating technical knowledge and ability
• Experience with semiconductor or high-volume manufacturing facilities, including clean room infrastructure
• Experience with facilities planning, construction, and maintenance
• Experience with the engineering of complex facilities or systems
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q-level security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in engineering, business, or facilities management
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring experience with professional staff
• Expertise in developing solutions to complex technical problems
• Relevant program management certifications such as PMP, PE, or FMP
• Proven decision-making skills related to cost, schedule, and performance
