Senior/Principal Lead Delivery Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end customer outcomes for aerospace accounts, from discovery to model deployment
• Author Statements of Work (SOWs) and manage delivery accountability
• Lead cross-functional value delivery teams including Applications Engineers and AI/ML Scientists
• Act as a dual project and product manager, running sprints and shaping product intuition
• Maintain hands-on technical involvement in debugging models and prototyping workflows
• Partner with GTM teams to drive account engagement and growth
• Feed market signals back to Product and Research teams to shape the roadmap

Requirements

• 5–10 years of technical experience in aerospace (OEMs, eVTOL, space, or propulsion)
• Multi-physics fluency in aerodynamics, structural mechanics, aeroelasticity, or propulsion
• U.S. Person status required
• Proficiency in Python, scripting, and simulation tools
• Working knowledge of AI/ML applied to engineering (surrogate modeling, physics-informed ML)
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct authority
• Willingness to travel 10–25% to customer sites

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
• Experience at major aerospace OEMs, eVTOL companies, or space firms
• Hands-on experience with CFD, FEA, MDO, or certification-relevant analysis
• Active or obtainable U.S. security clearance
