Senior/Principal Lead Delivery Engineer — Automotive

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end customer outcomes for automotive accounts, from discovery to model deployment
• Author Statements of Work (SOWs) and manage delivery accountability
• Lead cross-functional value delivery teams including AI/ML scientists and data engineers
• Act as both project and product manager, running sprints and shaping product intuition
• Maintain hands-on technical involvement by debugging models and prototyping workflows
• Partner with GTM teams to drive account engagement and growth
• Provide market signals to Product and Research teams to shape the automotive roadmap

Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience in engineering, simulation, R&D, or applied AI/ML
• Multi-physics fluency (structural mechanics, thermal, aerodynamics, battery systems, etc.)
• Proficiency in Python, scripting, and simulation tools
• Working knowledge of AI/ML applied to engineering (surrogate modeling, digital twins)
• Experience leading cross-functional technical teams
• Ability to travel 10–25% to customer sites

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Electrical Engineering
• Experience at automotive OEMs or Tier-1 suppliers
• Familiarity with software-defined vehicle (SDV) architectures
• Proven track record of deploying ML or simulation tools into production workflows
