Senior/Principal E&O Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead a dynamic group of field test support and technical personnel to ensure successful flight test missions.
• Coordinate, plan, and execute flight test related events in collaboration with the Operations Lead and Range Manager.
• Document and track range readiness, system performance, and develop preventive/corrective processes for operations.
• Identify project risks and collaborate with stakeholders to develop mitigation and contingency plans.
• Interface with internal and external stakeholders to integrate systems and processes that meet customer requirements.
• Manage documentation, training, and event preparation activities while communicating progress to leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
• Five (5) years of directly relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and engineering/scientific experience.
• Active DOE Q clearance or equivalent to start.
• Ability to work onsite at the Tonopah Test Range (TTR) near Tonopah, NV.
• Ability to work a specialized schedule (typically Tuesday through Thursday, 13-14 hours a day).

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate degree in a relevant field.
• Thorough understanding of range operations processes and systems integration.
• Proven ability to translate customer requirements into actionable tasks.
• Proficiency with systems engineering tools, including requirements management and risk analysis.
• Experience managing complex projects, including scheduling and resource coordination.
• Familiarity with instrumentation and data collection systems used in flight test operations.
