Senior/Lead Structural Engineer (Marine/Offshore)

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed design and structural analysis of marine/offshore structures using FEA and fatigue analysis
• Conduct concept and design work, assess failures, and derive operating limits
• Execute 3D modelling of structures using RHINOCEROS, Solidworks, Designmodeller, or Spaceclaim
• Manage marine equipment design including mooring equipment, fairleads, and foundations
• Perform pile selection for LNG terminal jetty design and assess ship collisions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with client specifications and safety standards
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field
• 5-15 years of experience in structural and marine/offshore industries
• Proficiency in FEA software such as ANSYS, SACS, or STAAD.Pro
• Strong expertise in marine/offshore hull scantling design
• Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken)
• Ability to manage multiple interfaces and prioritize complex workloads

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a relevant engineering field
• Professional Engineering (PE) license
