Senior/Lead Designer

Responsibilities

• Technical leadership of vehicle body construction projects (cockpit, interior trims, exterior trims, closures, BiW)
• Analysis of input data and complex design specifications
• Design of sophisticated solutions focusing on technical excellence, functionality, and manufacturability
• Advanced 3D/2D design work using CATIA V5
• Direct communication with international customers and leading technical negotiations
• Professional evaluation, control, and high-level presentation of results
• Coordination of sub-activities within the project team

Requirements

• Proven experience in designing plastic or sheet metal parts for the automotive industry (Cockpit, Interior Trims, Exterior trims, Closures, BiW)
• Advanced knowledge of material properties and manufacturing processes for plastic and sheet metal parts
• Excellent English language skills for professional technical communication
• Proficiency in CATIA V5
• Technical leadership capability and responsibility for complex decisions
• Strong organizational skills and experience leading technical teams
• Driving license Group B and willingness to work long-term in Belgium

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of the German language
