Senior/Executive Director, Business Operations

Responsibilities

• Shape and communicate the company's strategic direction through well-structured presentations to guide prioritization and resource allocation
• Lead strategic analyses for program evaluation, including discounted cash flow (DCF) modeling and secondary research
• Prepare strategies to guide the successful US commercialization of the Encaleret program
• Develop executive-level presentations for the Board of Directors, investors, and internal leadership
• Oversee budget planning initiatives and long-term lifecycle planning
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Regulatory, Finance, Commercial, and Operations to ensure holistic strategy development

Requirements

• 2-5 years of professional experience in management consulting (life sciences preferred), investment banking, venture capital, or a corporate role in a therapeutics company
• Proficiency in financial modeling, particularly DCF models
• Strong scientific acumen and a tenure-appropriate understanding of the drug development life science and operating model
• Exceptional written communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work in a hybrid model, requiring in-office collaboration 3-4x per week in San Francisco or Palo Alto

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree such as an MBA, MD, or PhD
• Prior experience contributing to new product commercialization
