Senior Zone Installation Specialist, Medical Imaging

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality installation and technical service for medical imaging equipment across the Midwest Zone.
• Establish rapport with customers and demonstrate urgency in identifying and resolving technical issues.
• Perform work in at least one medical imaging modality, with the potential to qualify in multiple modalities.
• Manage administrative duties including service work orders, expense reports, Field Change Orders, and installation documentation.
• Maintain knowledge of technical advances and current industry trends through continuous training.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in a diagnostic imaging service environment (field or hospital-based).
• Associate Degree in electronics or an equivalent combination of education and experience (BSEE/BSEET/BSME/BSMET preferred).
• Strong understanding of electronic, mechanical, and networking theory to install, diagnose, and repair equipment.
• Ability to travel up to 100% via car, air, train, or bus, including potential overnight stays.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and on-call rotations.
• Ability to safely work with radiation sources and/or radioactive materials using required PPE.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience specifically with Image Guided Therapy equipment.
