Senior Zone Installation Specialist, Medical Imaging

Responsibilities

• Lead the installation process and establish strong rapport with customers to ensure high-quality service.
• Take ownership of difficult customer circumstances and resolve issues with a sense of urgency.
• Perform technical work in at least one medical imaging modality, maintaining knowledge of industry trends.
• Manage multiple issues simultaneously and provide training to other team members as needed.
• Complete all administrative duties, including service work orders, expense reports, and installation documentation, within regulatory timeframes.
• Adhere to safety protocols when working with radiation sources or radioactive materials.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a diagnostic imaging service environment (field or hospital-based).
• Associate Degree in electronics or an equivalent combination of education and experience (BSEE/BSEET/BSME/BSMET preferred).
• Strong understanding of electronic, mechanical, and networking theory to install and repair equipment.
• Ability to travel up to 100% via car, air, or other transit, including potential overnight stays.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and on-call rotations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Specific experience with Magnetic Resonance (MR) equipment.
