Senior Workplace Investigations Business Partner

Responsibilities

• Lead investigations into allegations involving unauthorized access, data misuse, and insider threat signals
• Conduct interviews of complainants, subjects, and witnesses
• Draft clear investigative reports with defensible findings and conclusions
• Partner with internal Security teams to interpret system logs, access patterns, and digital evidence
• Translate technical findings into clear investigative narratives
• Assess employee intent, credibility, and level of risk
• Support decision-making regarding legal, regulatory, or reputational exposure
• Maintain and track case-related documents in the case management system
• Develop relationships with Security, Legal, Employee Relations, and Human Resources
• Utilize investigation data to provide strategic insights to leadership

Requirements

• BA/BS degree
• 8+ years of experience in workplace investigations, HR, employee relations, security, or employment law
• 5+ years of experience conducting complex, high-risk investigations (fraud, data misuse, or security)
• Experience working with technical or digital evidence such as access logs and audit trails
• Ability to operate in ambiguous, high-stakes environments
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Expertise in writing clear, concise investigative reports

Preferred Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate or advanced degree in a relevant field
• AWI-CH, SPHR/SHRM-SCP, or CFE certification
• Previous experience in the technology industry
