Senior Workplace Events Specialist

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end planning and execution of employee events and connection programs for the San Francisco office.
• Manage local event logistics including vendor coordination, space setup, signage, staffing, and safety compliance.
• Serve as a planning partner for AMER and LATAM offices by developing event structures, templates, and best-practice playbooks.
• Support the Global Events Lead in shaping the global events vision and scalable program frameworks.
• Manage the full event lifecycle, including calendar planning, registration, internal communications, and post-event metrics.
• Track event budgets, manage vendor invoices, and maintain procurement documentation.
• Provide general workplace operations support, including assisting with ticket queues, front desk coverage, and maintaining workplace documentation.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience in events planning, workplace events, facilities coordination, or hospitality.
• Proven experience in event execution and vendor management (RFPs, contracting, and budget stewardship).
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple simultaneous events and operational tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with employees and leadership.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and familiarity with workplace platforms (e.g., Zendesk, Asana).
• Practical knowledge of workplace operations and building systems.
• AI literacy, including the ability to use AI tools to improve event workflows and operational efficiency.
