Senior Workday Engineer

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary production support contact for Revenue, Billing, and Collections stakeholders
• Triage, prioritize, and resolve system-related requests and Jira tickets within established SLAs
• Support month-end and quarter-end close cycles by troubleshooting Workday revenue recognition and billing exceptions
• Build and maintain ad hoc and recurring reports from Workday to support billing operations and revenue analysis
• Document system issues, perform root cause analysis, and partner with US-based teams for resolution
• Create and maintain runbooks, SOPs, and user guides for production support workflows

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience in finance systems, ERP support, or business technology analyst roles
• Hands-on expertise with Workday Financials, specifically Revenue Recognition, Billing, or Customer Contracts modules
• Working knowledge of Workday security roles and the business process framework
• Experience managing support tickets using Jira, ServiceNow, or similar ITSM platforms
• Strong understanding of Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes and ASC 606 revenue recognition principles
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with global stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Workday certification in Financial modules
• Experience supporting finance operations within a high-growth SaaS environment
• Familiarity with Salesforce or Salesforce Billing
• Exposure to revenue close automation, reconciliation tooling, or process improvement initiatives
• Proficiency with SQL or BI tools such as Snowflake and Tableau
