Senior Workday Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and maintain Workday integrations using EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, and REST/SOAP APIs
• Develop and enhance Workday Extend applications, including custom pages, model objects, and embedded business logic
• Configure and support Core HCM, including business processes, job profiles, position management, and worker data
• Manage Benefits configuration including eligibility, open enrollment, life events, and carrier feeds
• Support payroll integrations, payment elections, banking configurations, and global payroll processing
• Maintain and audit Workday security roles, domain policies, and business process security
• Build advanced reports, dashboards, matrix reports, and complex calculated fields
• Support biannual Workday releases through impact analysis, testing, and enhancements
• Troubleshoot complex system and integration issues while ensuring data integrity and compliance

Requirements

• 6+ years of hands-on Workday experience across multiple modules
• Strong expertise in Workday Integrations (EIB, Studio, Core Connectors, APIs)
• Experience with Workday Extend (custom pages, model objects, app design)
• Deep knowledge of Core HCM, Benefits, Payroll, Security, and Reporting
• Advanced reporting and calculated field development skills
• Strong understanding of integration architecture, APIs, and data transformation
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Workday certifications (HCM, Integrations, Extend, Security, or Benefits)
• Experience with programming or scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript
• Experience working in a global enterprise environment
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams
• Experience managing Workday releases and structured change control processes
