Senior Work Control Planner

Responsibilities

• Develop and review work packages including time, material, and labor estimates
• Create written step-by-step work instructions, procedures, and safety requirements
• Perform planning duties related to mechanical, electrical, chemical, and radiological equipment
• Prepare equipment and system modification, corrective maintenance, and preventative maintenance work packages
• Analyze time and material requirements for complex work activities
• Manage and expedite the priority of work packages
• Prepare instructions for the isolation, containment, or de-energization of complex systems
• Manage administrative activities including permit development, documentation, and records management
• Ensure all work control results and products meet quality specifications

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 12+ years of relevant experience
• U.S. citizenship
• Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
• Experience with unique and complex work control and materials management
• Knowledge of work hazards, safety practices, and lock-out/tag-out policies
• Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical blueprints, drawings, and schematics
• Proficiency in computerized work management systems such as Asset Suites or SAP
• Strong research and problem-solving skills for complex planning issues
