Senior Wireless Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Define, implement, and simulate physical layer algorithms
• Identify and model system impairments in C++, validating against lab measurements
• Simulate impact of impairments on PHY and MAC layer performance
• Collaborate with engineers to specify system requirements
• Analyze trade-offs between performance and implementation complexity
• Devise and implement test strategies to assess wireless system aspects
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with cross-functional teams
• Document algorithms for Software and RTL Designers

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in wireless communications and signal processing
• 5+ years of experience simulating end-to-end wireless systems
• Proficiency in C++ programming
• Familiarity with fixed-point design and implementation trade-offs
• Strong root-cause analysis skills
• Ability to collaborate across different working styles

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in wireless communications and signal processing
• Knowledge of RFID and sensor technologies and test procedures
