Senior Windows Systems Administrator

Responsibilities

• Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements for critical classified programs.
• Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems involving hardware and operating system integration.
• Develop, implement, and maintain secure, cost-efficient environments.
• Provide documentation and training on advanced IT processes and procedures.
• Support systems that are operational 24x7, which may occasionally require work outside standard hours.

Requirements

• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance required prior to start date.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience with the installation, configuration, and administration of Windows operating systems.
• Experience with at least one of the following: Ivanti, VEEAM, Symantec, Nessus manager, or KIWI.
• Ability to obtain DoD 8140 / 8570 Certification (such as CompTIA Security+ CE) within 6 months of start date.

Preferred Qualifications

• DoD 8140 / 8570 Certification and an Operating System Certification.
• Experience with Windows Server, Microsoft WSUS, SCCM, or Exchange.
• Experience with VMWare vCenter, vSphere, and ESX.
• Experience with data storage, NAS, and SAN technologies.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, Bash, VBScript, or Ansible.
• Knowledge of NISPOM, JAFAN, JSIG, DFARS, and/or DoD/RMF.
