Senior Wet Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the review, development, and coordination of wet utility designs for airfield and airport infrastructure projects.
• Oversee the design of potable water distribution networks, firefighting water networks, and stormwater drainage systems.
• Review hydraulic models, engineering calculations, technical reports, and design submissions to ensure system performance and redundancy.
• Provide engineering support during construction, including reviewing contractor shop drawings, method statements, and conducting site inspections.
• Coordinate with airport authorities, utility providers, and multidisciplinary engineering teams (civil, structural, electrical, etc.) to manage utility interfaces.
• Ensure all wet utility works comply with project specifications, international standards, and aviation safety regulations.
• Identify and resolve technical issues affecting project delivery and utility performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in wet utilities engineering, design, and construction supervision.
• Proven experience working on major airport, airfield, transportation, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Strong technical expertise in potable water, firefighting, stormwater drainage, sewerage, and irrigation systems.
• Proficiency in hydraulic modeling software such as WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, StormCAD, or InfoWorks.
• Strong understanding of airport infrastructure and airfield operational requirements.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and multidisciplinary coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE), Chartered Engineer (CEng), or equivalent professional registration.
• Knowledge of ICAO, FAA, and NFPA aviation-related design standards.
• Experience working under FIDIC or similar international contract frameworks.
• Familiarity with BIM platforms and digital engineering coordination.
