Senior Wellsite Operator

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operational activities, troubleshooting, and minor maintenance for wells and gathering systems in an assigned area.
• Act as the Area Owner to ensure safe operation of assets, maximizing production and well availability.
• Troubleshoot well sites, hydraulic power units, gathering, and communication systems.
• Analyze production trends and data to identify current and potential well site issues.
• Perform safe start-up, shutdown, isolation, and surveillance tasks, including downhole failure investigations.
• Maintain asset integrity, legal compliance for emissions, and environmental standards.
• Monitor the workplace to mitigate hazards and promote Goal Zero safety behaviors.
• Execute minor authorized maintenance tasks and manage corrective maintenance work requests.

Requirements

• Cert III in Process Plant Operation.
• Significant experience in CSG Wellsite Operations.
• Proven experience troubleshooting hydraulic power units, gathering, and communication systems.
• Proficiency in operating process plant equipment, gas-fired engines, hydraulic motors, and pumps.
• Intermediate aptitude in instrumentation, mechanical diagnostics, data analysis, and computing (Microsoft Office, Maximo CMMS, PI Production Data).
• Experience in Safe Systems of Work roles, such as Permit Holder, Area Owner, or Permit Verifier.
• Strong competency in Risk Management and Risk Identification.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and a high level of initiative.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and a commitment to Health, Safety, and the Environment.
