About the role
Responsibilities
- Ensure production process quality with a focus on MAG and Laser welding technologies
- Analyze failures, define corrective actions, and lead containment and continuous improvement plans
- Perform process, product, and documentation audits according to automotive standards
- Collaborate with manufacturing engineering, production, and suppliers to resolve quality issues
- Manage PPAP documentation, change control, and process validation
- Participate in launch, ramp-up, and production line stabilization activities
- Monitor KPIs for scrap, rework, welding quality, and process performance
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in the automotive industry as a Quality Engineer or similar role
- Technical mastery of MAG and Laser welding processes (indispensable)
- Experience working with automotive Tier 1 suppliers (desirable)
- English proficiency at B2-C1 level for global team communication
- Knowledge of automotive regulations, root cause analysis, and quality tools (8D, FMEA, Ishikawa)
- Experience in seat manufacturing is a plus
