Senior Welder

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality welding on carbon steel and stainless steel using FCAW and GMAW/MIG processes
• Interpret engineered drawings, blueprints, weld symbols, and dimensions to ensure precision
• Troubleshoot welding equipment, machines, and consumables such as liners, tips, and nozzles
• Operate hand and power tools, including grinders and chipping hammers, to complete fabrications
• Enter labor hours and production data accurately into SAP
• Collaborate with supervisors and teammates to meet production, quality, and safety goals
• Support continuous improvement initiatives including 5S, housekeeping, and safety audits

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of welding experience in an industrial or fabrication environment
• Proven experience with FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) and GMAW/MIG welding
• Experience welding both carbon steel and stainless steel
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

Preferred Qualifications

• TIG / GTAW welding experience
• General fabrication experience
• Code welding or ASME certification
• Background in heavy-industry manufacturing environments
