Senior Welder Technician

Responsibilities

• Supervise and guide fabrication and welding teams in daily operations within the Logistics Center.
• Review and approve technical drawings, blueprints, and job instructions.
• Operate advanced welding equipment including MIG, TIG, SMAW, and FCAW.
• Lead the assembly and welding of complex metal structures such as frames, racks, and crates.
• Oversee inspection and repair of metal fixtures, containers, and logistics equipment.
• Collaborate with logistics and warehouse teams to develop custom metal solutions for storage and transport.
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure team adherence to PPE and hazard controls.
• Mentor junior fabricators and welders to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Welding Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 7–10 years of industrial welding and fabrication experience.
• Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Valid welding certification (AWS, ASME, or equivalent).
• Expert-level technical skills in welding and fabrication.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and operating advanced fabrication machinery.
