Senior Welder Fabricator

Responsibilities

• Oversee and execute fabrication tasks including cutting, welding, machining, painting, and assembling
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Operate and maintain fabrication machinery and equipment
• Perform custom fabrication work tailored to specific requirements
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to optimize processes
• Support repair and fabrication of Ground Support Equipment (GSE)
• Support vehicle build, integration, and mechanical assembly
• Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 8+ years of experience in fabrication or manufacturing
• Proficiency with CNC machines, welding equipment, saws, manual mills, and lathes
• Ability to lift up to 25lbs unassisted
• Ability to stand, climb ladders, and work in tight spaces for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical degree or certification in fabrication
• A&P Certification (Airframe and Powerplant)
