Senior Web Engineer

Responsibilities

• Ship features, fix bugs, and improve the platform daily across the full stack including React components, server-side rendering, Sling Models, OSGi services, servlets, and content APIs
• Contribute to the team's AI agent ecosystem by designing and building autonomous agents for page creation, QA, and content translation
• Build frontend experiences and backend services for AI-powered features like chatbot interfaces and intelligent search
• Drive platform modernization through caching strategies, performance optimization, and architectural improvements
• Collaborate cross-functionally with SEO, Developer Relations, and Product Marketing teams
• Uphold coding standards, accessibility requirements (WCAG AA), and testing practices
• Maintain integrations with external services including analytics platforms, CDNs, and third-party APIs

Requirements

• Full-stack expertise in React/TypeScript and Java/AEM
• Hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), including Sling Models, OSGi services, HTL, and content APIs
• Proven success driving performance improvements on large-scale, public-facing websites
• Strong understanding of web performance fundamentals like Core Web Vitals and caching architectures
• Enthusiasm for AI-augmented development and engineering workflows
• Experience mentoring engineers and collaborating with vendor/global teams
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments with competing priorities

Preferred Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in full-stack or web engineering for large-scale B2B or enterprise websites
• Deep AEM Cloud experience and familiarity with modern AEM development patterns
• Experience with server-side rendering frameworks and client-side hydration
• Experience with AI/LLM-powered tools, agents, or engineering workflows
• Familiarity with CDN and edge platforms like Cloudflare or Fastly
• Familiarity with web analytics (Adobe Analytics) and experimentation tools (Adobe Target)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
