Senior Web Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own and ship complex features end-to-end across core product surfaces
• Collaborate with backend engineers to design APIs and reason through data flows
• Own reliability and incident response, including monitoring dashboards and responding to issues
• Improve frontend observability through logs, metrics, alerts, and dashboards
• Identify technical debt and propose pragmatic refactors to evolve frontend architecture
• Connect technical work to measurable results like performance, reliability, and conversion

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of frontend web engineering experience
• Strong hands-on experience with React, Next.js, and TypeScript
• Strong frontend system design instincts (state management, data fetching, caching, performance)
• Experience owning complex features from scoping through launch
• Strong debugging skills and experience responding to production issues
• High agency and ability to operate independently in fast-moving environments
• Product-minded approach with a focus on user experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Frontend performance specialization
• Experience with high-traffic, real-time, marketplace, or financial products
• Experience in crypto, Web3, or adjacent financial infrastructure
• Experience building for WebViews or shared web/mobile surfaces
• Experience improving frontend observability or reliability practices
• Strong practical use of AI tools to improve engineering productivity
