Senior Web Developer – Marketing Technologies (MarTech)

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical evolution of marketing and web ecosystems through API integrations and CMS management
• Orchestrate the end-to-end technical integration of the marketing stack, including CRM, Marketing Automation, and CDP
• Manage Akamai edge configurations, leveraging WAF, Image & Video Manager, Ion, and EdgeWorkers for performance and security
• Oversee the full lifecycle of CMS architectures to ensure scalability and seamless API integration
• Implement advanced analytics and monitoring using GTM and server-side tagging
• Design and code Python-based solutions to integrate LLMs and AI/ML models into business workflows
• Act as the primary technical responder for complex architectural challenges and rapid prototyping

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional engineering experience with a portfolio of complex integrations
• Expert-level knowledge of Akamai and edge computing capabilities
• Deep understanding of MarTech stacks and data flow integrity between web platforms and CRMs
• High proficiency in Python and experience with AI/ML integration patterns (Vector databases, RAG, etc.)
• Full-stack fluency with expertise in modern CMS architectures and API-first delivery
• Expert knowledge of GA4, Segment, or similar CDP/Analytics platforms, including server-side tracking
• Proven ability to handle secure data exchange and authentication protocols like OAuth2 and SAML

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within the Acquia hosting ecosystem
• Active contributions to Open Source projects or a portfolio of technical side projects
