Senior Wayfinding Designer

Responsibilities

• Lead the conceptualization, design development, and implementation of wayfinding projects from inception to completion
• Develop creative direction for wayfinding, signage, and placemaking projects to ensure alignment with client expectations
• Create compelling narratives and presentations to communicate strategy and design proposals to stakeholders
• Coordinate with architects, interior designers, and multidisciplinary teams to propose integrated design solutions
• Provide mentorship and guidance to the design team to foster a culture of excellence and collaboration
• Manage project schedules, resources, and workflows to ensure timely delivery of high-quality design deliverables
• Utilize design software including AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, 3DS Max, and SketchUp to create conceptual designs and illustrations

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Urban Design, Graphic Design, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in wayfinding design, signage, and environmental graphics
• Proven track record in diverse project types such as masterplans, luxury hospitality, mixed-use, or commercial developments
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, 3DS Max, and SketchUp
• Comprehensive knowledge of local regulations, codes, and standards within the Middle East
• Strong understanding of materials, fabrication techniques, and detailed design specifications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client engagement
• Willingness to travel internationally to support project requirements
