Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, oversee, and direct the project design team in responsible charge
• Develop, implement, and maintain project schedules and budgets
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and delegation to staff
• Perform technical review (QA/QC) of projects
• Lead the development of engineering drawings using CAD/Civil 3D
• Prepare due diligence reports, cost estimates, and technical computations
• Serve as the engineer in responsible charge for final civil design drawings and stamping deliverables
• Lead field visits and construction site visits to assist with construction activities
• Prepare or guide computer modeling for water, sewer, and stormwater systems

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering
• 6+ years of progressive water/wastewater design experience
• California P.E. license (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Experience supervising and mentoring staff
• Valid driver’s license with 3 or fewer demerit points
