About the role
Responsibilities
- Control cost effectively on all types of warranty claims
- Control suspense and debtors’ accounts effectively
- Approve and process warranty claims and payments
- Provide expert technical support for Warranty resolution
- Provide feedback on warranty issues to business
- Achieve warranty balance scorecard targets and KPI’s
Requirements
- Qualified Artisan (e.g. Diesel Mechanic or Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic)
- Minimum 3 years post-apprentice/learnership experience
- Applicable product knowledge
- Basic financial management skills
- Sound business communication skills including managerial and technical report writing
- Sound interpersonal relationship skills
- Computer literacy in MS Office and SIS ET
- Problem solving and failure analysis skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous warranty claim experience
