Senior Warranty Specialist

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and consistent establishment of end-to-end warranty processes from claim submission through closure
• Develop, refine, and deploy warranty policies, procedures, and guidelines
• Identify gaps or inconsistencies in existing policies and drive improvements
• Partner with cross-functional teams to align warranty policies with product design and service procedures
• Implement corrective actions and training to address deviations from standard procedures
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for claims handling accuracy
• Collaborate with Service, Engineering, Quality, and IT to align process design with operational execution
• Provide business input for system rules, validation logic, and workflows

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, Automotive Technology, or related field
• 8+ years of experience in warranty operations, claims, or service within an OEM environment
• Strong knowledge of warranty policies and claims handling frameworks
• Proven experience managing claim validation, adjudication, and compliance
• Solid understanding of service operations, repair workflows, and vehicle systems
• Experience with warranty systems or ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or Salesforce
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to identify process gaps
• Excellent communication skills for training and influencing stakeholders
• Proficiency in German is a plus
