Senior Warehouse Specialist

Responsibilities

• Oversee and participate in daily warehouse workflows, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping
• Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, audits, and investigation of discrepancies
• Supervise warehouse personnel by providing training, coaching, scheduling, and daily task assignments
• Coordinate inbound and outbound freight activity with carriers and freight partners
• Enforce safety standards and ensure proper use of equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks
• Support the implementation and improvement of warehouse SOPs and ERP/WMS processes

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, or operations
• 2+ years of experience in a team lead, supervisor, or warehouse management role
• Strong knowledge of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control
• Experience working with ERP, WMS, or other order management systems
• Certified and able to operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work full-time on-site in Vernon Hills, IL
