Senior Waiter

Responsibilities

• Act as a shift lead responsible for managing dining service and checking out the waiter team
• Prepare and present team briefings to ensure service excellence
• Conduct ongoing training for waiters and assistant waiters based on Viking STAR service standards
• Manage your own assigned section during breakfast, lunch, and dinner service
• Implement safety, sanitary, and standard operating procedures in compliance with U.S. Public Health/FDA standards
• Maintain impeccable grooming and uniform standards at all times

Requirements

• 5+ years of restaurant management experience in a 5-star hospitality environment
• Outstanding knowledge of food and wine service standards
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems
• U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card)
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and meet physical demands of shipboard life
