About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead vulnerability remediation efforts within engineering environments, collaborating with product, infrastructure, and DevOps teams.
  • Drive holistic vulnerability response and corrective actions by engaging with internal stakeholders to increase process efficiency.
  • Communicate with technical teams to facilitate rapid assessment and mitigation of identified security risks.
  • Partner with AI engineers to design AI agents capable of analyzing security issues, determining root causes, and identifying corrective actions.
  • Design and develop backend services to support vulnerability intake and remediation workflows.
  • Assist stakeholders with vulnerability scanning and reporting, including troubleshooting and suggesting configuration or strategy improvements.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in vulnerability management, security architecture, or security operations.
  • Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning and management tools such as Nexpose, Tenable, Qualys, Prisma Cloud, or Aqua.
  • Experience managing vulnerabilities across both on-premises data centers and cloud technologies.
  • Strong expertise in threat modeling, risk assessment, and system security analysis.
  • Solid understanding of DevOps processes, CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps security tooling.
  • Experience in business process management, program management, or executive communication.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with configuration hardening based on CIS benchmarks.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages including Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation and custom detection logic.
  • Experience conducting policy scans and configuration hardening activities.
