Senior Vice President – Commercial Strategy and Analysis

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of Aldar Development’s overall Commercial strategy, ensuring alignment with broader company objectives.
• Establish a data-driven culture by spearheading advanced analytics and business intelligence to inform decision-making and strategic planning.
• Serve as a key strategic partner to the Chief Commercial Officer, translating market intelligence into actionable business strategies.
• Cascade commercial strategies to all business units and assist in developing departmental scorecards and strategic initiatives.
• Oversee commercial forecasting, including revenue projections, budgeting, and scenario planning.
• Drive digital transformation and innovation initiatives within the Commercial function.
• Monitor market trends, competitive dynamics, and macroeconomic conditions to identify growth opportunities and risks.
• Prepare and present regular performance reports and strategic insights to senior leadership.

Requirements

• Minimum of 12+ years of strategy and analytics experience in a large multinational company, real estate firm, or top-tier management consultancy.
• Minimum of 4+ years of experience in a managerial position leading strategy and analytics teams.
• Deep expertise in strategy deployment frameworks and balanced scorecard methodologies.
• Advanced data analytics and BI skills, including proficiency with Tableau, Power BI, SQL, or CRM platforms.
• Strong financial modelling and commercial forecasting capabilities.
• Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or Master's degree.
• Strong knowledge of GCC real estate market dynamics.
