Senior Vendor Manager

Responsibilities

• Influence strategic vendors to prioritize customer experience by lowering costs and improving supply chain efficiency
• Create and manage strategic vendor marketing plans to maximize margin and customer experience
• Identify areas requiring vendor attention and act as an escalation point for conflict resolution
• Audit metrics regularly to evaluate products and services for quality assurance
• Partner with cross-functional teams to develop annual plans and implement scalable solutions
• Lead cross-functional projects and maintain robust process documentation

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Category Management, Vendor Management, or Purchasing
• Experience in retail or the pet industry preferred
• Experience in e-Commerce is an advantage
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
• Proven ability to influence and manage business partners
• High level of communication skills
• Fluent in English and German (B2 or above)
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
