About the role

Responsibilities

  • Define in-vehicle network architecture and roadmap across automotive Ethernet, CAN/CAN-FD, LIN, and TSN
  • Architect connectivity infrastructure for OTA updates, telematics, and secure vehicle-to-cloud communications
  • Define service-oriented architecture (SOA) and middleware communication stacks including Classic and Adaptive AUTOSAR and SOME/IP
  • Enforce hardware and software interfaces aligned with ISO 26262, ISO 21448, ISO/SAE 21434, and UL 4600
  • Evaluate architecture trade-offs regarding performance, cost, reliability, safety, and security
  • Collaborate with systems engineering, controls, software, and OEM platform partners
  • Perform FMEA analysis and track findings to resolution

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in automotive or autonomous vehicle engineering
  • Expertise in vehicle communication networks (automotive Ethernet, CAN/CAN-FD, LIN)
  • Experience with in-vehicle network architecture and telematics

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Experience with Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) and high-bandwidth zonal/domain controller architectures
  • AUTOSAR expertise
  • Working knowledge of ISO 26262, ISO 21448, ISO/SAE 21434, and/or UL 4600
  • Experience working directly with OEM partners
  • Knowledge of LIDAR, radar, and vision systems
  • Experience in a startup environment
