Senior Validation/Verification Engineer

Responsibilities

• Write, modify, and maintain test cases and scripts to verify CFD solver functionality, performance, and stability
• Execute functional, regression, and performance testing using Python scripting and internal frameworks
• Investigate test failures by analyzing simulation results and collaborating with developers to isolate root causes
• Create and update test plans aligned with product release cycles and contribute to defect tracking
• Work across Windows and Linux platforms, including high-performance computing environments
• Collaborate with CFD developers and product managers to prioritize test coverage and communicate quality risks

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline with 2 years of experience, or a Master's degree
• Working knowledge of computational fluid dynamics (CFD), including numerical methods and solver algorithms
• Proficiency in Python scripting for test automation, data analysis, or workflow orchestration
• Experience working in both Windows and Linux environments, including command-line tools
• Fluency in English for global team collaboration and technical documentation

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with CFD software such as ANSYS Fluent, CFX, or Star-CCM+
• Experience in a commercial software testing or verification environment, particularly in CAE or simulation domains
