Senior UX Researcher

Responsibilities

• Lead user research studies by planning, designing, and conducting research to gather deep insights into user needs, behaviors, and motivations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including product, design, and data teams, to identify information gaps and manage research roadmaps.
• Analyze and synthesize qualitative and quantitative data to deliver strategic recommendations that account for technological constraints.
• Produce clear and concise reports and presentations to influence decision-making and guide design strategies at the executive level.
• Mentor junior researchers by sharing knowledge and accelerating their professional development.
• Champion a culture of UX excellence across the organization by advocating for various research methods.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in user research.
• Mastery of qualitative and quantitative research methods, including usability testing, semi-structured interviews, card sorting, and longitudinal studies.
• Bilingualism in French and English to interact regularly with colleagues across Canada.
• Eligibility to work in Canada.
• Strong strategic thinking skills and a business performance orientation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present findings to executives.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency with research tools such as UserTesting, Optimal Workshop, Qualtrics, or Dovetail.
• Experience with statistical methods.
• Previous industry knowledge in relevant sectors.
