Senior UX Designer

Responsibilities

• Guide UX design practices across the MSF cluster
• Lead cross-ministry initiatives and work with senior stakeholders
• Work across multiple concurrent projects with ITG teams
• Collaborate with vendors and external partners on ministry systems
• Interface with policy, operations, and technology teams
• Design citizen-facing applications, case management systems, and data analytics tools

Requirements

• 8+ years of UX/UI design experience
• 3+ years in a senior or lead capacity
• Proven track record of leading design initiatives across multiple projects
• Experience working with senior stakeholders and C-level executives
• Experience in government, enterprise, or large-scale organizational settings
• Proficiency in design research methodologies and usability testing tools
• Expert proficiency in design tools
• Strong understanding of responsive design, design systems, and component libraries
• Familiarity with HTML and CSS
• Exceptional presentation and communication skills
• Ability to mentor design talent and facilitate design workshops

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in government or public sector environments
• Ability to harmonize product thinking with design
• Comfort operating with ambiguity in maturing design functions
• Empathy for citizens, social workers, and internal stakeholders
