Senior UX Designer

Responsibilities

• Lead product design work from discovery through delivery, turning complex workflows into intuitive experiences.
• Empathetically understand user problems and create practical, high-fidelity solutions.
• Contribute to product strategy by identifying opportunities and bringing a strong user perspective.
• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs with a high standard of craft.
• Drive consistency and scalability through design systems and reusable patterns.
• Collaborate with leadership, product managers, engineers, and data scientists to shape product direction.

Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience in Product Design, UX Design, or a similar role.
• A strong design portfolio demonstrating craft, clear thinking, and meaningful impact.
• Proficiency with Figma and experience working with design systems.
• Strong understanding of user research methods and how to apply findings.
• Ability to turn user needs, business goals, and technical constraints into clear decisions.
• Strong written and spoken English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in publishing, media, or newsroom-related products.
• Experience designing complex digital products.
• Experience integrating AI-powered coding tools into design workflows.
• Familiarity with front-end implementation and technical constraints.
