Senior Utilities Engineer

Responsibilities

• Maintain reliable, compliant, and efficient operation of site utilities and electrical systems supporting GMP manufacturing
• Prepare and maintain operating, maintenance, and troubleshooting procedures for utility systems
• Ensure stable operation of electrical distribution, steam, purified water, BMS, and EMS
• Lead troubleshooting activities and root cause investigations for utilities and electrical systems
• Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities to improve equipment performance
• Manage contractors, suppliers, and service providers to ensure work quality and timely execution
• Support capital projects, including reviews, execution, commissioning, and startup activities
• Support change controls, SOP revisions, deviations, CAPAs, and lifecycle-related activities
• Identify and recommend system upgrades and energy optimization opportunities
• Manage utilities maintenance and operating expenses, including budgeting and forecasting

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics engineering, or a related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of experience in utilities and engineering within a GMP pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of GMP requirements and pharmaceutical engineering practices
• Experience managing contractors, service providers, and technical projects
• Fluency in English (both written and verbal)
• Strong communication and coordination skills with cross-functional teams
