Senior User Researcher

Responsibilities

• Evolve the process for organizing user research and testing across multiple product teams
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Industrial Designers, and Engineers to identify hardware research goals
• Scope, plan, and execute research for both hardware and software products
• Partner with research operations to source participants and manage logistics for in-person or remote testing
• Conduct research on design mockups, prototypes, and finished products
• Compile and present findings to stakeholders to enable strategic product decisions
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative research using interviews, ethnography, and surveys
• Document and track findings to ensure insights are accessible for future projects

Requirements

• 5+ years of user research and testing experience
• Experience working across both hardware and software product teams
• Strong foundation in hardware, human factors, or physical product development
• Experience with remote and in-person user research methodologies
• Ability to analyze research findings and report concise, concrete recommendations
• Exceptional communication and storytelling skills
• Ability to provide work samples focused on User Research and Testing

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Human Factors, Ergonomics, Anthropometry, or a related physical discipline
• Experience researching software products, digital interfaces, or content experiences
• Experience writing, fielding, and analyzing quantitative surveys
