Senior US Finance Controller

Responsibilities

• Prepare timely and accurate financial results for US entities in line with global reporting timetables
• Oversee the Balance Sheet across all US entities, ensuring appropriate reconciliations and documentation
• Manage cash flow, forecasting, and relationships with banking providers
• Provide line management for the finance/office manager based in New York
• Lead the annual budget preparation and monthly forecasting for US entities
• Oversee US payroll, including complex dual workforce structures and carry distributions
• Manage annual financial audits with PwC and prepare annual financial statements
• Liaise with tax specialists regarding US federal and state tax rules and regulatory compliance
• Ensure compliance with SEC regulatory requirements and timely filing of reports
• Evaluate and improve existing finance processes, systems, and controls to drive efficiency

Requirements

• Qualified accountant (or equivalent) with a minimum of 10+ years PQE
• Extensive experience within the financial services sector
• Strong audit background
• Advanced Excel and Power BI skills
• Experience with transformation journeys, process redefinition, or automation
• High level of professional English communication skills
