Senior Urban Planning Specialist

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive urban plans, zoning policies, and land-use strategies
• Conduct site analyses, feasibility studies, and impact assessments to inform planning decisions
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, government authorities, and stakeholders to ensure integrated urban development
• Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and planning documentation to support project objectives
• Ensure compliance with local, regional, and national regulations and environmental standards
• Lead public consultation processes and engage community stakeholders
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior urban planners and team members

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Urban Planning, Urban Studies, or a related field
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in urban planning, preferably in infrastructure or construction sectors
• Strong knowledge of Saudi Arabian regulatory frameworks and urban design principles
• Proficiency in GIS software, urban modeling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Proven experience working within PMC/PMO or Consultant Companies
• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills
