Senior Urban Heritage Studies Specialist

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and studies on global best practices in architectural and urban conservation
• Prepare urban and architectural studies and projects for historical sites and heritage areas
• Develop reports, research papers, and marketing publications for heritage buildings and historical districts
• Monitor and analyze global trends in urban heritage and archaeology management
• Develop institutional plans and programs to raise community awareness of cultural heritage
• Coordinate with local and international entities to implement joint research projects
• Participate in technical committees, seminars, and deliver research presentations
• Prepare periodic progress reports, including KPIs and recommendations for improvement

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture
• 4–6 years of experience for UAE Nationals
• 9–12 years of experience for Expatriates
• Strong expertise in urban heritage research and analysis
• Deep knowledge of architectural conservation
• Ability to perform field work (approximately 40%–60% of the role)
