Senior Underwriter, Financial Institutions

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and maintain a profitable portfolio of Financial Institution risks, focusing on the Eastern region.
• Fully underwrite accounts in accordance with underwriting guidelines and individual management authority.
• Develop and execute marketing plans for assigned producers and territories to drive individual broker success.
• Identify and build a pipeline of new business opportunities through client prospects and existing client expansion.
• Collaborate with actuarial and claims teams regarding the pricing and underwriting of risks.
• Structure and price programs tailored to unique customer needs.
• Monitor industry trends through leading data sources to maintain a superior field service reputation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of underwriting or insurance experience.
• Proven underwriting background in Financial Institutions products (D&O, E&O, EPL, FLI, and Fidelity).
• Experience working with large brokerage houses, wholesalers, and specialty retailers.
• Established relationships and visibility with producers and customers.
• Strong analytical, marketing, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel as needed to support business activities.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
