Senior Treasury Advisor

Responsibilities

• Provide professional cash management advice and support to banking partners and clients, specifically targeting law firms, private equity, and UHNW clients.
• Apply business development strategies and collaborate with BMO partners to grow the business and achieve sales objectives.
• Participate in deal teams to develop and present proposals and pitches for new opportunities.
• Develop and maintain long-term, profitable client relationships to expand share of wallet.
• Provide subject matter expertise on complex deal structuring, market conditions, and industry trends.
• Conduct independent analysis to resolve strategic issues and provide data-driven insights and recommendations.
• Support product change management, implementation, and financial transaction set-up.
• Ensure alignment with internal guidelines, controls, and regulatory requirements to protect bank assets.

Requirements

• 4-6 years of relevant experience in treasury or cash management.
• Post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• In-depth knowledge of cash management products and services.
• In-depth knowledge of business investment, lending, and commercial banking products.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and influence skills.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
