Senior Travel Counselor

Responsibilities

• Provide high-touch, white-glove travel services and complex booking solutions for VIP, entertainment, media, and sports industry travelers
• Act as a trusted advisor by offering informed recommendations for air, hotel, car, and rail, including obscure production locations
• Handle specialized requests such as artist riders, junkets, charter flights, production vehicles, and meet & greets
• Resolve complex travel issues including multi-destination itineraries, ticket exchanges, and complex global fares
• Manage client travel policy compliance and advise travelers on international requirements like visas and immunizations
• Support the team by assisting other counselors with client policies, technical tools, and real-time problem resolution
• Monitor call and email queues to ensure professional and prompt response to all traveler requests

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• 7+ years of experience in a customer service environment
• 5+ years of experience as a travel counselor
• Proficiency in Sabre GDS and Power Turbo
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Ability to work evening and weekend shifts, including some overnights

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting Concierge, VIP, Entertainment, Production, News, or Sports clients
• Specialist skillset in Talent, Publicity, and Event travel
