Senior Travel Consultant

Responsibilities

• Act as a visa officer, inspecting and processing passport and visa applications to ensure all documentation and payments are accurate and compliant with guidelines
• Handle client inquiries and concerns regarding application procedures via telephone, email, and in person
• Produce and review all documents to meet specific requirements of visa and consular offices
• Prepare applications for transmittal, including completing forms and managing mailings
• Collect payments, issue receipts, and complete daily financial reconciliation and cash reports
• Advise staff on new laws and policy changes affecting visa regulations to ensure ongoing compliance

Requirements

• Detailed understanding of visa processes for various countries, including Work, Business, and Tourist visas
• Experience working in a high-touch service environment where performance is measured
• Background in handling visas for business travel, leisure, or airline reservations
• Excellent professional written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to research and resolve customer service and traveler issues independently
• Strong problem-solving skills with a process improvement approach
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential traveler information with integrity
